Our Story | Loom&Lazy
Loom&Lazy is a London womenswear label founded by two Y2K-inspired designers. Versatile pieces for office days, busy mum life and bold club nights.
Loom&Lazy was born in London, dreamed up by two designers united by their deep, long-standing love of unapologetic Y2K fashion.
Raised on the playful, futuristic and boundary-breaking aesthetics of the early 2000s, they spotted a frustrating gap across UK high street fashion. Most Y2K-style pieces were only made for club nights, corporate workwear felt rigid and uninspired, while everyday clothing for mums prioritised comfort at the cost of personality. They set out to create something different with Loom&Lazy: a brand that refuses to lock women into just one style.
Our design philosophy is rooted in Y2K’s forward-thinking spirit — bold silhouettes, nostalgic soft textures and subtle futuristic details — but built for real, chaotic London life. We don’t make disposable fast fashion. Every garment is multi-purpose, designed to move seamlessly between your different roles: polished enough for back-to-back office meetings in the city, soft and practical for school runs and busy mum routines, and striking enough to re-style for electric London nightlife after dark.
Our wool and angora knitwear sits at the core of the Loom&Lazy collection. Cloud-soft, luxuriously lightweight and priced fairly between £40–£50, these sweaters are our ultimate wardrobe workhorse. Wear them with trainers for low-key mum days, layer under blazers for sharp 9-to-5 styling, or pair with shimmer bottoms and statement accessories for midnight club glamour.
Loom&Lazy is for women who reject being labelled. The London office worker who still craves a night out on the dancefloor. The busy mum who holds onto her edgy, trendy taste. The creative who lets her mood dictate her outfit, not her timetable.
We lean into inclusive cuts, premium natural fabrics and accessible pricing for shoppers across the UK and Western Europe. Y2K edge, thoughtful craftsmanship and effortless wearability — this is Loom&Lazy: fashion that flows from desk, to school gate, to dancefloor.
